This is for a magazine cover contest for school 
It's a creative writing magazine and if you win, you get $100 (pretty cool huh?)
It is done on really big stretched watercolor paper.
Sorry about the bad quality (again) I had to take it with my camera since it was so big. If i had a scanner big enough i would have totally scanned it
This is my first time painting water...came out okay i guess =0w0=
Ive never worked with Dr. Martens before, and i must say, they are AMAZING. The colors in real life are just outstanding and bright. Totally smooth looking. If you have the money, i recommend trying them out.

Say, the black you used for the wings is that the watercolour ink? Looks much better than the watercolour I had used for long. Heh, I might ask the shop owner of the local art store whether it might be possible for them to order them.
